Deana Martin Celebrity Roast with actor Joe Mantegna at the South Point

Deana Martin returns to the Showroom at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas for her next edition of The Deana Martin Celebrity Roast honoring the ‘Man of the Hour’ – world-renowned actor, producer, writer and director, Joe Mantegna on Sunday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. Deana continues her father’s legacy by recreating The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast, which ran on NBC between 1974 to 1984.

Mantegna, best known for his role as David Rossi in the CBS hit-series Criminal Minds, is the “Man of the Hour,” and will have his life and career roasted by special celebrity guests. In addition, Mantegna is known for roles In box office hits, including Three Amigos, The Godfather Part III and Up Close & Personal. Mantegna won a Tony Award for David Mamet’s play Glengarry Glen Ross and earned Emmy Award nominations for his roles in three different miniseries: The Last Don (1997), The Rat Pack (Starring as Dean Martin,1999), and The Starter Wife (2007). He’s also known for his role voicing Fat Tony in The Simpsons.

Deana is an influential American singer, actor and performer and the very proud daughter of iconic entertainer, Dean Martin. Her 2006 debut CD release, “Memories Are Made of This,” stayed in the top ten for 40 consecutive weeks. One of Hollywood’s most iconic stars is coming to the Las Vegas Strip in “Marilyn! The New Musical”, an original musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. The show will open at Paris Las Vegas with preview performances beginning May 23, and a grand opening June 1, just in time for Marilyn’s birthday. Written, directed, and produced by Tegan Summer, CEO of Prospect House Entertainment, in partnership with Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Estate of Marilyn Monroe, the new musical will feature acclaimed Broadway actress Ruby Lewis as the resident Marilyn Monroe.

Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters

Acclaimed actor Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters are returning to Las Vegas for a special performance at Rocks Lounge inside Red Rock Resort on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $35 and go on sale Friday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Fronted by the mercurial actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters released their debut album The Boxmasters in 2008. The band is made up of Thornton (vocals and drums), J.D. Andrew (guitar, bass, and vocals), and Teddy Andreadis (keyboards).

The Commodores

Tickets are on sale now for The Commodores, who will be in concert Saturday, May 26 at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. Guests will enjoy R&B hits from the Grammy-award winning funk group including “Easy,” “Three Times a Lady,” “Just to Be Close to You,” and “Nightshift, along with disco sounds from the ‘70s from the Ohio Players. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Founded in Alabama by Tuskegee University students, The Commodores were discovered by Berry Gordy in 1968 and went on to become one of Motown’s most successful acts in the 70s and 80s, selling more than 60 million records worldwide. The trio continues to perform along with their five-piece band, known as the “Mean Machine,” at festivals and arenas across the globe.
